That's cool, though, that this gag is helping to raise awareness. ...Or something. :D I thought it was hilarious, myself.

It's hilarious and weird. My husband and I have been big fans of "Twisted Toyfare Theatre" since it started, and couldn't wait for Robot Chicken.

Twisted Toyfare? I have heard of that, but never actually seen anything related to it.

Toyfare is a magazine for action figure collectors that's been around for about 5-6 years now. Since its beginning, Tom Root and some other guys have written 5-6 page stories, illustrated by photos of staged action figures. It was originally called "Twisted Mego Theatre" because they used the 9-inch Mego figures from the 70s, but they eventually added other, more recent toys and changed it to "Twisted Toyfare Theatre."

You can get the TTT compilations from Amazon or at comics stores. They rock most righteously. Seth Green wrote the introduction for Vol. 2 and also did a guest column for Toyfare once.
